Our Technology

We provide specialized rehabilitative services to our patients in the communities we serve. We often see patients who are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

Our Technology

Rise&Walk®

The Rise&Walk® is an advanced robotic rehabilitation system that helps patients regain mobility and independence after stroke, spinal cord injury, or other neurological conditions. Combining body-weight support with guided walking and upper body engagement, it allows patients to safely practice natural movement patterns early in their recovery.

At Denver Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, we use Rise&Walk® to deliver high-repetition, task-specific therapy that promotes faster progress, greater confidence, and better functional outcomes.

Ampcare ESP™

The Ampcare ESP combines neuromuscular electrical stimulation with a custom postural support system and targeted therapeutic exercises to help patients safely and effectively regain control of their swallowing muscles. This non-invasive, FDA-cleared therapy has been shown to improve swallowing function, reduce the risk of complications like aspiration pneumonia, and support faster, more successful recoveries.

By integrating Ampcare technology into our dysphagia program, we’re helping patients rebuild strength, confidence, and independence—one swallow at a time.

Bioness®

The Bioness Vector Gait and Safety System is a body weight support harness system used during gait training and other forms of rehabilitation. The ceiling-mounted system is designed to support mobility and balance training while virtually eliminating the risk of falls and injuries.

The Bioness Vector has intuitive and dynamic body weight support that adapts to the patient during individualized mobility tasks. The support rope automatically shortens and extends as the patient’s center of gravity moves up or down, allowing patients to perform different activities, such as step ups, squats, lunges and kneeling, all while maintaining a consistent percentage of body weight support.
